Last week we ventured out to the L.A. County Fair. I was super excited to have the Cupcake see all the farm animals. It was a beautiful day and we decided to head out late in the evening so that we don't have to deal with large crowds, since the mornings is when most people like to go. It was just my mom, my little brother, his friends and myself and Cupcake who went to the fair. The thing I love most about the fair is the food. Unfortunately, the choices are humungous and deciding what to eat becomes a chore. As we were walking through the camp grounds, my mom and I spotted several people with plates that had mountains of fries. That made us want to try that out and we did. I added chili cheese to mine and they were A-M-AZ-I-N-G! I couldn't finish them though so I had to toss most of them out. My brother got to get on a lot of the rides while we just walked around and checked out all the booths. I was able to to order Cupcake's tutu for her birthday, so just imagine my excitement.
It was finally time to go and see the animals and it was so cool. I'm a big animal lover so seeing the Cupcake super excited to look at all the cows, pigs, goats, and chickens had me super giddy. We weren't allowed to actually walk in to where you can pet the animals but we were still able to get pretty close so that she can touch them. It was the cutest thing watching her giggle. At times she would giggle this nervous giggle, that's when I knew she was getting a little scared so I would back away from the animals. All in all it was a really good night, and now I am looking forward to actually taking her to the zoo and aquarium.
A few days after that we were able to spend it with some friends. Cupcake pretty much slept through the whole visit which was okay with me because it was late anyway. It wasn't the best weekend but we made the most of it.
I am in love with duckkies
