Holidays, 25, and shopping

It was Thanksgiving weekend and that meant a 4 day weekend. I was so happy I was able to spend some quality time with my little family, especially my little cupcake. Our week started off with visiting Israel so that Cupcake could have some fun time with someone closer to her age. She also got to spend time with Faby which I am sure they both enjoyed. She looked pretty happy riding around in Israel's little buzz lightyear cart. Sorry the picture is sideways, my computer wouldn't let me switch it around.

The whole week consisted of me planning out my whole Black Friday schedule. I had to make sure I hit every store and got everything on my list. My goal was to spend no more than $200. Toys R us, Wal-mart, and Target where my go to hot spots. So having a list and an idea of where all the items where located was definitely a must. But before I get to all that madness, Thanksgiving would have to be done first. The plan for the day was to do dinner at home with my mom and then after we were done, I was suppose to head out to Marc's for his dinner. I dressed the Cupcake in my favorite dress since she is really close to outgrowing it. It's a spring/summer dress but I didn't care and still put it on her even though we are a lot closer to Winter. She was watching one of her favorite shows Special Agent Oso in this picture.

So as planned we went off to Marc's right after dinner. By the way, she started saying 'baby' while we were having our dinner at home. She definitely livened up the mood at our dinner. She is what has been missing all these years.
We arrived at Marc's and everyone hadn't had dinner yet because they were waiting on the baby. It was about 7 when they had their dinner. They lounged around for a while, then we got ready to go head out shopping since this year stores were opening on Thanksgiving day. We took off at about 830 pm and headed out to our first stop Toys' R us and the line was insane. We didn't think we were going to get in right away but they let everyone in. It.was.a.mad.house! Marc took a cart and headed to find the toys we were in need of. I was the crazy lady shoving and pushing people so that I can score the cool toy. We were there no more than 30  mins. So our next stop was Wal-Mart. We walked right  in and didn't realize we had cut in front of at least 150-200 people. Either way we also picked up some stuff there and were there no more than 30 mins. Since we were done quiet quickly at the other stores we still had about an hour and 20 mins til Target opened their doors. My back was killing me. And having to stand in line outside while it was really cold for that long didn't help. Finally we were in and again, we were able to snatch up everything on our list. By that time it was about 1 in the morning. So we decided to head home and call it a night. It looked like Christmas had struck early. I am so excited for Cupcake to play with all her new toys.

She is such a happy baby in the morning. The rest of the week turned out amazing. Every year my birthday turns into a disaster. It has been like that for quiet some time now. Well this year it was different. I had the most beautiful video card from my daughter. I was also was greeted with a french toast breakfast, candles and all. My car was washed, I got the shoes I have been wanting for forever, and a pedicure. I was being pampered. The night before my birthday my Gus Gus brought me Thai food which is my favorite. We had my favorite wine and we were able to enjoy some movies with the Cupcake. I also went to lunch with 2 of my favorite gals and I had such a great time. I have to admit it was such a perfect weekend. I am so blessed to have been surrounded by the most amazing people. I wouldn't have had it any other way. Except for one person, actually 2. Then it would have been that much better.
