Epiphany?

Yesterday I received a lovely visit from my friend Tina whom I like to call  my Left Butt cheek. Don't ask why, I just call her that. Well during her visit we mostly talked about her things and when she was leaving I started pouring out my heart to her.

When talking to her about the things going on with me I feel like I had an epiphany. I have been wanting things for a while now. Simple things. Things like a better job, my own home and to just be satisfied with my life. For a while now I have been wanting someone else to provide those things for me. I have been wanting the Bubba to provide that for me. But then I realized, if Bubba were to give me these things which he cant (he cant give me a better job) I wouldn't feel good about myself.

That's when I remembered that, I have to toot my own horn for a second here and admit to you guys that I am a go getter. I have been that way for as long as I can remember. I have always worked hard for what I wanted, I still do this. So if I want to get all the things I have been asking for then I have to go and get them myself. And doing so, it will give me personal satisfaction. I will feel like an independent woman, the independent woman that I am.

So I have made myself a list, a list of goals I plan and WILL achieve by the end of the year. I know that if I set my mind to it, it will happen. I have spent so much of my time and energy being upset, frustrated, etc about not getting what I wanted from someone else, I believe it is time I do something about it.

My goals are:
  1. Have a full time nursing job by the end of the year. No ifs and or buts! Or if I am still per diem, pick up shifts to make it full time.
  2. Move out of where I am living now. I would like to be out of here by September the earliest and December the latest.Cupcake and I really do need a bigger place.
  3. Go back to school. I really want to further my education.
So there you have it folks. I will make this all happen one way or the other. But I need to get it done. Wish me luck.
