I never saw myself as the knitting or sewing type. It never occurred to me to try and make thing like socks, shirts, and all the other stuff out there. But when I came across another blog, I saw this beautiful quilt that was handmade. I just fell in love with it and wanted one of my own. Of course something like that can't be found in stores, so I'm forced to make it myself. I'm artsy, crafty, pretty much I'm creative.
I did a few searches on YouTube to see what I might need and how to go by making the quilt, and so far I think I'm ready. I went to a fabric store and picked up patterns that matched and would stand out. I chose the owls because its cute and not so common. I really think she's going to like the pattern.
I'm super excited to record the process, let's see how long it takes me to finish it.
