Sunday Dress

The cupcake is usually wearing a dress, but there are days where she prefers to chill out in some shorts or just a onesie. I like for her to look her best everyday because you never know what the day will bring. I also love it when people compliment on her wardrobe. It just makes me feel good knowing she is always stylish. This past Sunday, she was finally able to wear the dress Faby gave her a long time ago but couldn't wear because it was too big. It is still pretty big but it fits much better than before. The cupcake looks absolutely beautiful in it, and I couldn't help but take tons of pictures of her in it. I am probably going to go broke wanting to buy her dresses similar to this one.

She spent Sunday with her dad and his family. I stayed home to catch up on all my chores that I have been putting of for a real long time. I am glad she was able to see her aunts and uncles and spend one on one time with her daddy.

I hope next time I get alone time I wont have any chores to do so I can maybe catch a movie or go and have some drinks with friends.

Sunday Last day for a fun day

Sunday's are always spent making breakfast real early and getting ready to head out to church. Unfortunately, my mom and I haven't been feeling to great lately and we've hadn't gotten the chance to go to church. No bueno! We did make breakfast but it wasn't til noon that we decided to start cooking. Our Sunday breakfast consists of eggs, hash browns and pancakes. My mom and I like to chit chat while we set up everything, and since I have Cupcake now she loves to be in all of the action. It was a very warm afternoon so I sat her on her Bumbo on kitchen floor so she can be all in the action too. I think she's going to love watching mommy cook for her. The rest of the day Cupcake spent it sleeping and me, well, I spent it getting ready because Cupcake and I were going to go get dinner with Faby. Of course, when we get to the pupuseria, Cupcake had to start crying and didn't let me eat. For some odd reason, every time I want to eat she starts to cry and get really fussy. Either way, we enjoyed our meal and had a good conversation about how I have been feeling lately. I stop by to pick up some beers after so we can watch the season finale of Mob Wives and the season premiere of TrueBlood. And that was the rest of my night. It was such a relaxing Sunday, I have a lot of those lately. Here we were outside hanging out before my shows started.

I know I know, I missed some posts

I totally forgot to post on Saturday and Sunday and I should be punished but I'm here to make up for the lack of posts this weekend.
Cupcake and I spent our weekend being cold and me celebrating my brother's birthday. It was my first outing without the going out. I had a  lot of fun. Cupcake slept through the entire night so I didn't have a fussy baby that I needed to attend to through the party. Sunday I was exhausted and had lack of sleep because I needed to be up early to visit her dad's side of the family for Easter. That was different and awkward but I got through it and made it home to slum it in sweats and chow down to some yumtastic burgers flipped by my brother. And calling it a night. Easter was a very relaxing holiday but I'm sure next year, I'm gonna be a little less relaxed and more of a crazy mom decorating Easter eggs, hiding them and making baskets. Oh the joy of parenthood.

I missed sundays post

I didnt have time to post something yesterday but one quote I really like which was also posted on my facebook a few days ago was from Lucas Scott from One Tree Hill which was:

"Its a beginning not an end."

A lot of people when they find out they are pregnant, they start saying how their life is now coming to an end, how they cant do this and that. But I think that your life is just about to begin. Yes, there are some things that you can no longer do but thats okay, your gonna get to do other things you never did before, like raise a baby, play, sing just to make someone else laugh or smile.

I really do believe my life has just begun.
