I haven't really been taking any pictures lately. It's not that nothing exciting or fun is going on, I just have been enjoying the moments with this kid that I forget all about "capturing the moment".

We've gone to Disneyland twice this week but no pictures not even one. I finally bought a passport so we can go whenever we want. It's so nice not worrying about having to cover a whole theme park in like 12 hours or less. Now we can actually enjoy all of the happiest place on earth.

Life lately

I have been in a blogging funk again. Nothing interesting has really been going on. I feel like I am working more which making more tired. But the truth is I have been working the same. Cupcake had a fever Monday and has a stuffy nose so her sleeping at night hasn't been great. Other than that, it's Father's day this Sunday and I am going to BBQ for the Bubba and we are going to get his tattoo next week. I work all weekend so I will be a zombie all.weekend.

This is life lately....

The Cupcake was getting a back massage from Faby. She was enjoying it. It was the first time in a long time I have seen my kid stay still for more than 5 minutes.

I totally look like one of those trendy kids. Ha! I went to Gay Pride with my gay friends on Sunday. I really went to go see Ivy Queen perform. Unfortunately one the attendees there ruined it for us. A fight may have happened because of him. But other than that it was so much fun. I had my first drink in a long time and I did not feel hungover the next day. Go me!

She fell asleep on the way to the store. I didn't want to wait it out in the car because I was low on gas and was not about to waste it on leaving the car on with the a/c. So I carried her all through the store while pushing a cart. It was a workout.

This girl right here, Faby is seriously my soul mate. You know how Christina Yang and Meredith Gray (Grey's Anatomy) are always saying they are soul mates, they are their person...well this is my person, Sorry Bubba. We fight constantly and make up constantly. Our friendship is bittersweet. This is the one person I can always without a doubt count on to be there, and it's a plus that my kid loves her too. No matter where our lives take us I will always be there for her. Even if she does hate me at that moment. The down part, Bubba and her can't stand the sight of each other. I find a way to  make it work though. I truly hope that one day she finds happiness with someone as equally amazing as her.

After my 16 hour shift. I was completely exhausted but manage to smile and keep with this kid. She is my whole life and I love her to pieces. Cupcake I want you to know I do everything, all the working, sacrificing for you babe. So that you have everything you can possibly need. I will do anything and everything to always put a smile on that little face. Quien the quiere corazon de melon? Tu mami!

Hawaii part 1

Okay my stupid blog wont let me upload them in order. Oh well I will give you a little description underneath each picture.

Here I am ready to head out to the beach to go snorkeling with the whole fam bam.

I went for a run in the morning with the Bubba and this was the view. By the way this is not an edited picture, that's simply how beautiful Kauai is.

This was taken at the spouting hole. This is a beautiful beach and we spotted a couple of turtles in the water. We like coming here for the outdoor shops since their merchandise is way cheaper than what's in the actual stores.

This was outside one of those cute little churches that are made out of volcanic rock. What I like about this church is that, it's very intimate, super small maybe seats like 30 people if that.

I was going to do a post about what to pack but I got super busy so yea sorry. But this is all that was packed. Mostly Cupcakes clothes since I knew I was going to be living in my swimsuits. Oh and yes that is my bra at the corner.

I love this tree tunnel. It is so beautiful and if we are going to be near by, we made it a thing to drive through it.

Easter

This is how our Easter weekend went. Saturday, we went to the Cupcake's cousins house to celebrate his 4th birthday. We had a good time just watching grandpa get drunk. I also scored a lot of Mexican candy from the pinata.

Sunday we started with a late breakfast with the Bubba's immediate family, except for his sister. Which was then followed by playing outside with bubbles and having a mini Easter egg hunt with the cupcakes cousins.

We then headed to Bubba's aunts house to have Easter lunch with them. Notice the different less formal dress the Cupcake is wearing? Well on our way to Vivi's house (Bubba's aunt) we let her have some goldfish snacks in the car, well they somehow stained her white dress. I was so upset but oh well. We got to participate in their egg hunt and the Cupcake of course liked it.

At the end of the egg hunt their tradition is to have a major silly string battle. I of course did not participate. I was not dressed (prepared) for it. I stayed indoors and watched. It looked like so much fun. My cupcake got scared so she also just watched from inside with me.

Overall it was a very good weekend. Next weekend is the Bubba's birthday and I am super excited for what I have planned for him.

I know last week I totally slacked on my  pictures, I just was not feeling up to par. I injured my ankles working out barefoot. I know, I.am.smart! Won't be doing that again EVER! I also ate like a trucker, so I just felt super gross all week. But I am back on track today, so I have been eating better today. I also plan to start an all fluids diet as a natural cleanse. I think my body is in dire need of one.

Before I forget, I went to L.A. Fashion District over the weekend to pick up some last minute stuff for my trip at the end of the month. I found a super cute top and a great maxi dress to wear for the luao. I am so pumped! Now I am still in search of the perfect black and also white wedges. Those are the only type of heals I can wear. I had no luck in L.A so I plan to hit up the mall this week. I am meeting up with Faby later for the kiddos play date. I will be taking pictures of the cupcake and posting an OOTD of what she is wearing.

Target run

This 90,91 and 92.We went to Target last night to pick up some stuff for the house. I also took advantage of their $20 slacks deal. Since I am starting a new job pretty soon that requires me to wear business casual clothes, which I don't have, I had to go pick some pants up. I also picked up some face wipes which I will be reviewing soon.

We had a good time at the store. It sucks because Target really makes you spend money. I went in hoping to spend at the most $60 dollars, I walked out with and spent $100. Smack myself on the forehead hard for this one.

So my blog is getting pretty boring AGAIN haha so I am going to spice it up with some of my favorite things.

In April this is what I will be talking about:

1. Review on the face wipes I bought.
2. Easter, and what I put in the cupcakes Easter basket as well as what I put in her friend's Frijolitos basket.
3. An outfit post on my first day on the job :-)
4. A how to pack and what to pack on a trip (my bag and the Cupcakes bag)
5. A easy peasy 10mins or less makeup look for everyday.
6. Review on month 1 of Insanity workout

And so far I think that is it. Now let's hope I actually write about the things I just listed ha! Have a good weekend everybody.
