Weekend Recap and my Work Outfit

This past weekend was a real fun one. Friday I started my first day of orientation at the new place I will be working on the weekends. It's business casual but I didn't feel like looking like some older lady. So opted for a more just-plain-casual look.

After the orientation, I felt this, gosh I don't even know how to explain it, feeling of "wow this place, these type of patients are probably going to be the thing that it going to make me enjoy nursing". I just got a great vibe from this facility and I am looking forward to working there for a very long time.

Saturday we went hiking to the Monrovia trail and it was a great hike. I took the Bubba with me so that he can get some nature in as well. He says he had a good time, except for carrying that huge carrier, oh well. After the hike we went over to his mom's house to go swimming since her pool is a heated one. This was the first time the Cupcake was in a pool and she loved it. She was splashing and kicking her little feet. I can't wait to sign her up for swim class.

Sunday, we went to breakfast with Bubba's grandparents and his dad which was then followed by church. After that we parted ways and I went hiking with Faby. I purchased a new carrier and it seems to be a great carrier. This particular trail was tough but a great workout. I also almost stepped on a rattlesnake which scared the crap out of me. Overall a great weekend. Here are some pictures which are in no particular order.

The cupcake can now go smell flowers when you ask her too. She's such a cutie.

35, 36, and 37. Weekend Recap

Such a busy weekend or should I say Friday night and Saturday. Marc and I spent our evening trying to tie bows and hot gluing them to the baptism favors. I did like 45 bows and he did 5, so he really wasn't helping me. We also started doing the rainbow crayons that were to be molded into cat paws. The hardest part of that was taking of the wrappers on the crayons. My nails were hurting after a while. We seriously didn't go to bed til about 2:30am. We were exhausted but we got most of the things done.

Aren't they super cute!!! Oh and the cupcakes godmother made the coloring books, they are great too.

Saturday, the cupcake decided she was going to be ready to play at 5am. So that means there was about only 2 and half hours of sleep that night. Tried the paci...nope. Tried rocking her...nope. She rather jump and climb on top of me. I was a zombie that morning. Marc took her to go see her cousin Barbara and her Grandma Susan and Alice. I didn't go because I had a lot to do at home which I had already said I was doing before they decided to do their meet and greet get together. Marc said that it wasn't a bad visit and that the cupcake was enjoying herself. So at least that was a good thing. In the evening we went to Marc's aunts house to have a late birthday dinner for his dad. We came home and we were all pooped.

Sunday, we went to church and were in better moods because the cupcake slept a little longer so we were able to get in about 7 hours of sleep. After church the cupcake and I went hiking with some friends and pretty much just hung out after. Overall it was a good weekend. Happy Monday!

#27,28,29,30,31, and 32

Wow! So apparently I have been neglecting my blog and not staying up to date with Project 365. I have been sick, the cupcake has been sick, therefore lack of pictures and posts. But here I am making up for laziness. Seriously, I could have easily just started with just #27 and just skip the other days but I want to really do 365 pictures so yea.

This up here is today. I was once again bored at work so I goggled easy fishtail braid and BOOM! I mean it's not perfect but I dig it.

This is up here my friends is Pasta Figiole. Now I may or may not have spelled that right but to keep on track of my laziness I don't feel like looking it up. I was sick so I wanted soup. I took a drive to the Olive Garden during my lunch break at work and picked up one of these bowls. So glad I did. Yummo!

This one I took on my way back from the Olive Garden. Three bridges on the same freeway had the same thing going on. So I thought it was cool and I took a picture.

Now this picture is a little interesting because, not too long ago I actually wasn't getting along with this girl right here. We kind of disliked each other very much. But then my friend had her birthday dinner which we both attended and since then we are buddies. She's like me, she likes to piss off people for fun!

The 4 photography classes I am going to be taking this month on top of all the stuff I still need to do for the Cupcakes Birthday party.
Working on…
All the decorations and invites for the party. Seriously, this whole month is dedicated to just that.
Thinking about…
Going to the store later and buying more food for the cupcake.
Anticipating…
Getting this party over with. Seriously everything so far has to do with this little girls party. It's crazy! But I am anticipating seeing family and friends in one place. Oh and my Hawaii trip in April...Aloha!

Please don't think I am weird, but I am totally into Selena Gomez on Pandora. Yea I know, I am lame.
Eating…
Nothing right now. I am drinking water and I had Cheerios for breakfast and Ceviche for lunch.
Wishing…
I could move from California and go live somewhere like Oregon or Colorado, even though I am always complaining I am cold. And I am also wishing that I find the dress I really want to wear for the Cupcakes baptism.

Last but not least, this is the Cupcake and I hiking up to the waterfall. We didn't actually make it because I was too scared to slip in the water while carrying her since I was alone. We did go pretty high up though. It was nice with it being just the two of us. 


I am suppose to go shopping for solid color wrapping paper. Apparently it doesn't exist because I have been to 3 different store and none of them carried it. Wish me luck!

#22. Mommy and me time

I rarely take pictures with the cupcake since I'm not that great at taking pictures arms length. But today we were just I'm such a perfect place that I had to snap a shot of us out in the wilderness. Not the most flattering picture of me but im sure that when she sees this picture in the future she won't be thinking of how creepy I look in the picture.
