Weekend round up

This 62,63,64,65 and then some. This weekend was super awesome! Friday night the Bubba made some yummy shrimp tacos. He wasn't stingy with the shrimp like at restaurants. We didn't do much the rest of the night because I had to get up early to go to an optometrist appointment. By the way I got new eye glasses and I absolutely love them. My other ones were super old and I needed an upgrade.

Saturday, like I said got new glasses and then the Bubba, cupcake and I went to Target to buy her a swimsuit and some other goods. Then we went to Babies R Us to purchase a new stroller. We actually have one already, which is our Safety 1st Travel system (click on the brand name to see which one we own) But what we now needed was a light weight stroller for our Hawaii trip next month. I have been lemming for the Baby jogger one for as long as I can remember. So that's what we purchased. I absolutely love everything about it. We bought the 2011 model since the 2012 didn't really have anything that I "needed" to have. I took the Cupcake out for a spin in it that night and she was so comfy in it. I wish I had taken a picture so you can really believe me.

That night I also stopped by Old Navy to exchange some jeans I had purchased about 2 weeks ago that were a tad too big in the leg area. That is when I discovered I went down a pant size. Whoo hooo! I was so happy I rewarded myself with some new shorts.

Sunday, we went to church and then I spent all day with the Cupcake. She is such a little monster when she is teething. She was everywhere and keep fussing about everything. Pieces of banana may or may not have been thrown at me during lunch time. She finally took her afternoon nap after several kicks, turns, and flips on my bed.

46. Car seat!

So I thought I was going to record the whole car seat shopping experience, but I got so caught up trying to figure out which one I wanted to get that I totally forgot to take pictures. Yup fail again. Pretty much Babies R us had their trade in event so we went to go check out the seats. I ended up really liking the Safety Air Convertible car seat. So I'm really glad I bought it. We traded in my old gross stroller an received 25% off our purchase. That was totally awesome. We tried installing the seat last night but we couldn't quite figure it out so we left it like that and had the cupcake use her old one in the mean time while I figured out how to install the new one. I ended up looking up YouTube videos on how to install this specific seat and the thing that we were missing was the rolled up towels underneath it since we are still rear facing it. So woala! It's installed and has already been in use. She seems to be okay with it, she has complained a little so I'm hoping it's just because she was hungry. I really am I trying to keep her rear facing for as long as possible, keep your fingers crossed for me.
