Life lately

1. Sleeping baby after a long morning of breaking out new toys. 2. Hiked my butt all the way to the top of the Garcia Trail to the cross. 2 & 3. You wouldn't have thought we were in the E.R. because the Cupcake was having a hard time breathing. She looks normal doesn't she. 4. I made Faby do the hike with me of course. 5. Faby bought the Cupcake her first baby, can you tell she doesn't want to let go. 6. OC Fair bound 7. Relaxing Sunday

Weekend Recap via iPhone

70,71,72, 73,74,75,76,77,78 &79 Yup you read that right. I am knocking down the weekend as well as all of the week and weekend to come. Now I am doing it so that I can start blogging about other stuff beside my Project 365. Plus also I had all these cute images that I wanted to share so there.

This weekend went something like this.

Friday: We picked up some Fish and chips from this one place we love because they always give us extra fish and it's the BOMB! We hung out with Adrian and called it a nigh.

Saturday: We were suppose to go to Bubba's sisters house but when we found out Bubba's brother was going we opted not to. Wow, that sounded bad. Let me explain, see his sons were sick. He says they were getting better but I have heard that before and they will still have runny noses, coughs, etc. I really didn't want to risk the Cupcake catching their bug or whatever it was. You see I already have enough with her cutting 4 teeth at a time and no sleep. I didn't want to possibly add her getting sick to that as well. So even though they problem think I am an asshole for not wanting to go, I really don't care. For my sanity and for Bubba's sake it was best that we stayed home. We actually had a good day. We took the cupcake to the park for a little while and we cooked up some taquitos for dinner and fell asleep by 930.

Sunday: Time changed so we woke up late so we didn't make it to church but we did get to spend extra time together. The cupcake took a super duper long nap. Giving the Bubba and I some quality time, which we spent playing "Draw Something" Super addictive game let  me tell you. I finished off my evening by getting pulled over by CHP then going hiking and a last minute run to the mall. I played with the cupcake for about an hour before we hit the sack.

It was a good weekend in my book.

Weekend round up

This 62,63,64,65 and then some. This weekend was super awesome! Friday night the Bubba made some yummy shrimp tacos. He wasn't stingy with the shrimp like at restaurants. We didn't do much the rest of the night because I had to get up early to go to an optometrist appointment. By the way I got new eye glasses and I absolutely love them. My other ones were super old and I needed an upgrade.

Saturday, like I said got new glasses and then the Bubba, cupcake and I went to Target to buy her a swimsuit and some other goods. Then we went to Babies R Us to purchase a new stroller. We actually have one already, which is our Safety 1st Travel system (click on the brand name to see which one we own) But what we now needed was a light weight stroller for our Hawaii trip next month. I have been lemming for the Baby jogger one for as long as I can remember. So that's what we purchased. I absolutely love everything about it. We bought the 2011 model since the 2012 didn't really have anything that I "needed" to have. I took the Cupcake out for a spin in it that night and she was so comfy in it. I wish I had taken a picture so you can really believe me.

That night I also stopped by Old Navy to exchange some jeans I had purchased about 2 weeks ago that were a tad too big in the leg area. That is when I discovered I went down a pant size. Whoo hooo! I was so happy I rewarded myself with some new shorts.

Sunday, we went to church and then I spent all day with the Cupcake. She is such a little monster when she is teething. She was everywhere and keep fussing about everything. Pieces of banana may or may not have been thrown at me during lunch time. She finally took her afternoon nap after several kicks, turns, and flips on my bed.

Catching up...

On number 55,56,57 and 58. It has been a chaotic weekend because we had the Cupcakes birthday Friday and her birthday party/baptism on Saturday and clean up on Sunday. I'm going to make it into a collage so that I can explain more or less of what went on these past few days.

Went to the Aquarium of the Pacific in Long Beach. It was awesome, she really enjoyed looking at all the fish. She was so pooped she was out cold when we put her in her car seat for the drive home.

Saturday was her birthday party and Baptism. We got all dressed up but dressed down for the party. Got my Thing Mom shirt since it was a Dr. Seuss theme party.
 

The Cupcake was so tired that she napped for an hour and a half! That never happens so I took advantage and took a nap along with her. When we got up it was so nice outside I took her for a walk on her buggy. I also made my own "super nachos" a lot healthier well not healthier but less grease than the kind you buy at Alberto's. We wrapped up our weekends with lots of giggles and tickles. Nights like last night need to happen more often. She seriously makes me so happy. That smiles makes everything bad in my life not matter anymore. I love her so much it truly is amazing.
